Microneedling Under Eyes
About Treatment
Puffiness can be due to fluid retention, often on wakening or after eating a salty meal.
Allergies, atopic dermatitis, and smoking can also play a part. Tissue structures and muscles weaken with age and surrounding skin will start to sag – a thin epidermis or dermis under the eye is also a contributing factor.
Other possible indications are asthma, deoxygenated blood, and increased melanin, with the most significant factor being your family history

FAQs
Fungal Nail Treatment
This FDA-cleared laser treatment for toenail fungus is virtually painless. It can be used to treat a single nail or multiple affected areas for both toenails and fingernails. As a patient, you will probably feel nothing during the short treatment other than a comfortable sense of warmth. And only at the IPL or laser treatment site. The energy works beneath the nail plate therefore the surface of the skin and nail is unaffected . The treatment creates sub-dermal heating that destroys the fungus.
- Laser therapy uses light at particular wavelengths to interact with fungus without affecting the healthy skin or body being targeted to specific features of the nail and fungus.
- A&A Podiatrists can use two different lasers to achieve optimum results for this persistent infection: The Lunula and The PinPointe FootLaser.
You can enjoy immediate results after just one short treatment with less yellowing and improved skin texture around the nail. Most cases require up to 5 or 7 sessions, but each session is very short. Conveniently, this treatment is an outpatient procedure with absolutely no downtime. Come in for treatment during your lunch break and you can immediately get back to work with no symptoms!

After treatment, we ask that you do not to wear tight footwear for the first 48 hours. You should also apply an anti-fungal cream to the affected area twice daily for 3 months. Also, use an anti-fungal powder in your shoes.
Results are usually visible from the very first treatment and increase throughout the course until the infection is completely gone. The healthy nail will start to regrow in the weeks and months after treatment and should eventually look just entirely ‘back to normal’.
All patients are required to have a 24hr patch test prior to any of our laser treatments. This is so we can quickly identify if you have sensitive skin towards laser and to avoid any adverse reactions.
