What is the duration of this treatment?

Depending on the total area being treated muscle relaxing injections are performed over a few minutes and with correct post treatment guidelines patients are able to carry on most normal activities. The injections are administered using fine needles and in most cases do not require anaesthesia, however, numbing cream can be used if necessary to provide a more comfortable and pain free treatment.

How long does the result last?

Various factors can affect the longevity of results but benefits can last between 6-18 months. Factors vary from patient to patient with the common considerations being lifestyle, age, skin type, injected area, and administered product.

Are dermal fillers painful?

In order to make treatments as comfortable and pain free as possible most dermal fillers already contain a pre mixed local anaesthetic, however, to further minimise the discomfort experienced during this treatment anaesthetic cream can be applied 30-45 minutes pre treatment when necessary.

The side side effects associated with dermal fillers typically resolve between 1-2 days after treatment. Some of the most commonly visible side effects include redness, swelling, bruising and tenderness.
