How does it work?

What is the basic aftercare advice?

After treatment, we ask that you do not to wear tight footwear for the first 48 hours. You should also apply an anti-fungal cream to the affected area twice daily for 3 months. Also, use an anti-fungal powder in your shoes. Results are usually visible from the very first treatment and increase throughout the course until the infection is completely gone. The healthy nail will start to regrow in the weeks and months after treatment and should eventually look just entirely ‘back to normal’.

Why do I need to have a patch test prior to treatment?

All patients are required to have a 24hr patch test prior to any of our laser treatments. This is so we can quickly identify if you have sensitive skin towards laser and to avoid any adverse reactions.
